Information about you gathered by us via this website or by any other means will be kept in reasonable security by the Scottish SPCA for the purposes specified on the relevant form only [and for sending you information about our activities from time to time]. The Scottish SPCA will not pass on the data to any third parties. Scottishspca.org does not collect any bank details or account information, all online donations are processed by workwithus.org (see section 2). All personal data collected by us will be processed only in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and Scottish SPCA (contact details as above) is the data controller for the purposes of that Act.
2. Online donations
All online donations to the Scottish SPCA are processed through the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) Workwithus.org portal through a donations page specifically for the Scottish SPCA. All data is collected by workwithus.org however your details are passed on to the Scottish SPCA unless the user selects 'anonymous donation'. 3. Obtaining Information
You have the right to apply for a copy of the information we hold about you and to have any inaccuracies corrected (we reserve the right to make a small charge to cover the cost of providing you with a copy of the information which we hold about you).
